DNA Genetic Preservation on Triple M Ranch Doc Outstanding

My name is Matthew Schoenbauer, owner of Triple M Ranch. I started in 2015 with 3 Commercial Boer Goats in 4-H/FFA, then 2016 I went to an ABGA breeding stock sale and purchased 3 Registered does. The first few shows, I meet some awesome ABGA members, I decided this is my future business and Triple M Boer Goat Ranch was created. I did a few internships, then I heard of Trans Ova at Nationals in 2017 and purchased RMA2 Bring It from Rick & Misty Allen at the Winner Circle Sale. I researched everything about the best of the best Boer Goats and well I couldn’t afford to buy anymore, or the buck was dead, so how could I reproduce one.

Trans Ova suggested we try IVF my best doe to semen of my favorite buck. In creating the best breed of standards, correctness, that breeding line and the success, in both the show ring, and production SO, 2018 I made the trip to try the IVF Flush at Trans Ova – Sioux City Iowa with DVM Zane Gray, and magic happened.

7-21-2018 Triple M Ranch Doc Holiday was born.

I was amazed how much he looked like his late sire. My dreams were coming true. I took him to every show I was able to attend. As a 0-3 month old buck he won Reserve Grand Champion Overall at a huge show, and it never stopped (covid cancelled 2020 Nationals).
Covid hit, cancer hit, I sold Triple M Ranch Doc Holiday with much regret. I did get to be part of him winning Nationals 2021.

I lost RMA2 Bring It shortly after selling Doc, now loosing any change of ever creating another buck as amazing as he was. I worked half a year to purchase 2MBG Aces Spot On, which is my Dream Doe that replaced Bring It. I decided to start heavy IVF 3 x a year with Trans Ova, her days were numbered to collecting oocytes. She produced some amazing does, that I keep as my Flush Does.

I finally got a buck from my original Triple M Ranch Doc Holiday and 2MBG Aces Spot On (the daughter of Ace in a Hole & 2MBG Doc Holliday’s sire)

I knew that day, 3-19-2021 he was the image of Doc and hopefully my future, Triple M Ranch Docs Outstanding was born.

Triple M Ranch Docs Outstanding won 1st in his class at Nationals 2022, I plan to show him this year, if he wins, he will retire and produce semen/breed does and my hopes to have him cloned.

NOW looking forward, I need to preserve my Future! I know how to fight, I’m now officially a Cancer Survivor, I will make life matter, I will strive to be the best and successful.
