Twin Falls, ID – Trans Ova Genetics is excited to announce the acquisition of Intermountain Embryonics in Twin Falls, Idaho. As of March 2023, Trans Ova Genetics became the owners of Intermountain Embryonics after completing the purchase from Dr. Hoyt Rees. The addition of this lab in Idaho marks the second new IVF lab to open this year for Trans Ova. The Idaho Regional Center will offer breeders the same convenient access to IVF technologies, while expediting access to lab facilities and personnel.
“Our client base in the Northwest continues to grow, and we are excited to be able to offer additional lab services in Twin Falls, Idaho,” says Ranae Schuttpelz, Operations Director. “The Trans Ova team is eager to continue the great working relationship established by Dr. Rees in the Idaho and Utah region.”
The team is looking to complete the transition of the lab into the Trans Ova system by late summer. Upon passing all quality control checks, the new lab will start regular production early this fall.
“We are excited to bring our services to the magic valley,” Regional Business Manager, Jacob DeKruyf said. “I grew up in the dairy industry here in Idaho and have been thrilled to work with producers to get the best genetics for them out of their great herds.”
