At Trans Ova Genetics, our mission is to multiply success® by helping clients unlock the full potential of their herds. For dairy producers, that means having trusted advisors who can provide not just technical expertise, but also practical insight into herd management, reproduction programs, and long-term genetic strategies.
That’s where our Dairy Consultants come in.
Our dairy consultants are dedicated to bringing value specifically to dairies. They work alongside producers to:
Seth lives in Vermont with his wife Bethany and their two children, McKenzie and Briar. He has spent his professional career working with dairy producers to provide information, resources, and solutions that drive profitability and performance.
Seth has been with Trans Ova for 3.5 years, first serving as Regional Business Manager for the East region before transitioning into his current role as Lead Dairy Consultant in May of 2024. In this role, he continues to serve clients in the Northeast while also providing sales and consulting support to RBMs across the country. His focus includes working with large commercial dairy operations and partnering with Trans Ova’s sister companies to offer a complete suite of products and services.
Chelsea grew up in Vermont with Holstein show cows and went on to study Dairy Science at Virginia Tech before earning her Master’s in Dairy Reproduction from the University of Tennessee. After graduation, she worked as a reproduction consultant covering much of the East Coast, from New England down to Pennsylvania and across to Michigan.
Five years ago, Chelsea relocated to Montana, where she worked as a guide for an outfitter. While she enjoyed the adventure, she missed the dairy industry. Fortunately, she found her way back — and has been with Trans Ova for the past year as a Dairy Consultant. Chelsea’s favorite part of her role is helping dairies recognize the genetic potential within their herd and equipping them with the tools to achieve their goals.
Jake serves as the Dairy Consultant for the Plains region. A lifelong resident of the Midwest, he has spent much of his time in the High Plains. His passion for dairy runs deep — inspired by his grandparents and four generations of family dairymen.
Originally from central Kansas, Jake pursued his passion at Kansas State University, where he earned a B.S. in Animal Science in 2017. Following graduation, he gained experience in the A.I. and DHI industries, first as a Genetic Consultant and later as a Learning and Development Specialist. Today, Jake is most passionate about helping dairy producers achieve their goals and increase profitability through genetic advancement.
All over the United States, Trans Ova’s dairy consultants bring regional expertise with a shared commitment to helping dairies succeed. Whether it’s fine-tuning a reproduction program, implementing IVF, or evaluating long-term genetic strategies, our consultants are here to support your goals every step of the way.
