What Is a PwP Location? 

A PwP (Partnering with Practitioners) location is a large animal veterinary practice that works directly with Trans Ova Genetics to offer IVF services to clients in their region. These practitioners are hand-selected and trained by our expert team, ensuring the same high standards, protocols, and results you’d expect from a regional or satellite center. 

Through this partnership, clients can access professional Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) services locally—while Trans Ova handles fertilization and embryo development.  

Unlike traditional Trans Ova locations, all scheduling, billing, and client coordination at a PwP site is managed independently by the veterinary practice. This structure allows the clinic to maintain its own processes and client relationships while offering access to Trans Ova’s advanced reproductive technologies.  

While the technical procedures—such as oocyte fertilization and embryo handling—are still performed by Trans Ova, the veterinary practice oversees the client-facing aspects of care. This model supports a collaborative partnership, where veterinary teams deliver services within their own clinic environment, backed by Trans Ova’s scientific expertise and logistical support. 

It’s a win-win for both the veterinary practice and the producer: expanded services, greater convenience, and powerful genetic progress without the travel.

How the PwP Program Works 

Becoming a PwP location is a collaborative process between Trans Ova Genetics and trusted veterinary practices, built on shared commitment to excellence in reproductive services: 

  1. A veterinary practice expresses interest in joining the PwP program 
  2. The proposed PwP site is reviewed and approved by Trans Ova Genetics 
  3. Veterinarians attend Trans Ova University (TOGU), receiving hands-on training in OPU techniques from experienced IVF professionals 
  4. The veterinarian completes a final skills check-off with Trans Ova trainers 
  5. Once approved, practitioners begin collecting oocytes from client donors at their local clinic 
  6. Oocytes are shipped to Trans Ova for fertilization 
  7. Embryos are either frozen at Trans Ova or returned fresh to the PwP site.  

Throughout the process, Trans Ova’s logistics and technical support teams are here to assist PwP practitioners—offering guidance, answering questions, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly.
