As Trans Ova has grown, so has the way we deliver services to producers.
What once felt straightforward, working directly with a single team or location, has evolved into something more flexible. More accessible. And, at times, a little harder to understand from the outside.
We’ve heard the questions:
They’re fair questions. And they deserve clear answers. Because while the structure behind our network has expanded, the expectation hasn’t changed:
You want consistent, reliable results, no matter where the work happens.
You may hear us refer to these as Core, Network, Partner, or Extension locations. Here’s what each of those means for your program.
Genetic progress doesn’t happen in one place. It happens on farms, across regions, and within programs that all look a little different. To support that, access matters just as much as the technology itself.
Some producers need services close to home. Others rely on trusted local partners. Others are managing larger programs that span multiple locations. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all model. And there shouldn’t be.
That’s why Trans Ova has built a network designed to meet producers where they are, while still maintaining the systems and standards that drive results.
Every partnership is built with one goal in mind:
Delivering consistent, reliable reproductive results, no matter where the work happens.
At Core Locations, everything from the team to the lab to the day-to-day operations is fully owned and operated by Trans Ova. You’re working directly with Trans Ova employees, inside Trans Ova facilities, using Trans Ova systems from start to finish.
These locations represent the most direct connection to Trans Ova’s full capabilities, including laboratory services, donor management, and program execution.
At Network Locations (satellites), facilities are independently owned, often by Trans Ova clients, but closely aligned with Trans Ova. These locations bring services closer to producers while operating in coordination with Trans Ova systems and support.
While ownership is local, these teams work within a framework that emphasizes consistency, communication, and performance.
At Partner Locations (PwPs), your primary relationship is with an independent provider who works alongside Trans Ova. These providers often utilize Trans Ova laboratory services and collaborate with our teams to support reproductive programs.
This model allows producers to work with experienced professionals they know, while still accessing the capabilities and support behind Trans Ova.
“When you invest in a reproductive program, you’re not just choosing a location. You’re choosing the people, the systems, and the consistency behind the results. No matter where the work happens, that standard matters.” — Sara Kober, Trans Ova Genetics
At Extension Locations, teams are not Trans Ova laboratories and are not staffed by Trans Ova employees. They are independently owned and operated, but aligned with Trans Ova through training, protocols, and technical guidance.
These locations expand access into new regions while following established systems designed to support consistency and performance.
While the structure may look different depending on where you are or who you work with, the foundation behind it stays consistent.
Across every part of the Trans Ova network, the focus remains the same:
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about structure. It’s about results.
One key takeaway:
How you schedule depends on where you work within the Trans Ova Network.
No matter the path, your program is supported by Trans Ova systems, training, and standards to help ensure consistent results.
This model wasn’t built to make things more complicated, it was built to make progress more accessible.
More access to services. More flexibility in how programs are run. More opportunity to move your herd forward.
All while staying grounded in the experience, systems, and standards that drive results.
Because progress doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when the right people, the right technology, and the right systems come together, wherever you are.
