Sioux Center, Iowa — Trans Ova Genetics (TOG), a leader in advanced reproductive technologies for livestock, is proud to announce an expanded strategic partnership with Reproduction Specialty Group (RSG), effective April 1, 2026, to deliver enhanced in vitro fertilization (IVF) and reproductive services to small ruminant producers across the United States.
Built on years of successful collaboration, the partnership formalizes and strengthens the combined capabilities of both organizations, creating a streamlined, end-to-end service model designed to elevate outcomes for clients and accelerate genetic progress in the small ruminant sector.
Under the agreement, RSG will assume all professional service work, including IVF collections, conventional embryo flushes, and laparoscopic AI (LAP AI). Trans Ova will continue to manage all laboratory operations, staffed by its experienced embryologists and lab personnel and supported by its proven systems, protocols, and technology platform. To create a more streamlined service experience, the partnership formalizes a field-and-laboratory model in which RSG leads field execution and veterinary services, while Trans Ova continues to deliver laboratory excellence and embryology support.
RSG will also provide veterinary oversight, licensure, and client relationship management, maintaining its trusted, boots-on-the-ground presence with producers nationwide.
Together, the two teams bring complementary strengths, pairing Trans Ova’s industry-leading lab expertise with RSG’s specialized veterinary service and deep client relationships to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience from collection through embryo production.
“This partnership allows both organizations to focus on what we do best,” said Mike Creek, Sr. Operations Director, Trans Ova Genetics. “By aligning our lab capabilities with RSG’s veterinary leadership and client service, we’re creating a stronger, more efficient model that ultimately delivers better results for producers and their herds.”
“This partnership represents a powerful alignment of expertise that directly benefits sheep and goat producers across the country,” said Dr. Tad Thompson, DVM, Founder and CEO of Reproduction Specialty Group. “RSG has always focused on delivering specialized veterinary services and practical reproductive solutions for small ruminant producers. By combining our field experience and client relationships with Trans Ova’s world-class laboratory systems, we can deliver a truly integrated IVF and embryo production platform that accelerates genetic progress and gives producers greater confidence in every step of the process.”
