Candidate with a 2 or 4 year degree in accounting or a related field (equivalent work experience considered); strong data-entry, 10-key, and spreadsheet experience required. This individual will help lead the A/P process by the gathering, coding, and entering invoices; handling weekly disbursements, reconciling vendor statements, filing backup, and other general office support.
Calf Team Leader for our Iowa Calving Center location. Candidate with prior supervisory and dairy calf rearing experience preferred. This individual will lead a team to provide the daily care of calves. Responsibilities include organize and participate in daily work, train and coach team members, ensure calves are bedded, ensure calves are fed, and monitor herd health.
Bottle Calf Herdsman for our Iowa Calving Center location. Candidate with dairy experience and the ability to operate farm equipment preferred. This individual will provide care for calves; feed, monitor health, clean and bed housing, and general facility and equipment maintenance.
Part-time Night Calving Herdsman to work one weekend (Friday and Saturday) a month; the shift begins each night at 6 PM and ends at 6 AM. This individual will monitor pregnant cows, help with calving, and process newborn calves. Prior calving and cattle handling experience preferred.
Donor Manager for our Sioux Center, Iowa location to manage the care of our client’s genetically elite cows and heifers. Strong attention to detail, animal husbandry expertise, and the ability to lead a team is a must to provide superior care for our client’s cattle in order to multiply their best genetics.
Donor Herdsman to care for our client’s genetically elite cows and heifers. Duties include feeding, processing, sorting, heat detecting, A.I., and cleaning pens. Candidate with prior cattle handling experience preferred and a passion to provide superior care for our client’s cattle.
IVF/ ET Embryologist for our Boonsboro, Maryland location. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Animal Science or Biology and a 3.0 GPA or better, communication and client service skills. This individual will be responsible for scheduling on-farm trips or clinic schedules, setting up work areas, assisting veterinarians chute side, oocyte searching and evaluation for IVF, and other daily lab activities. The ability to travel required during seasonal spikes.
Part-time Farm Team Herdsman for our Boonsboro, Maryland, location to work approximately 10-15 hours per week with some weekend work expected. Candidate with cattle feeding, milking and farm equipment experience preferred. This individual will be responsible for cleaning and bedding cattle pens, feeding hay and TMR with mixer wagon, milking, sorting and moving cattle, and giving shots.
